About Me: The Gamer's Hub started as a forum based community focused on sharing videogame news and for gamers to meet online to game together. This website and its continued growth and changes represent what a group of gamers can accomplish when they put their minds and effort to it. The Gamer's Hub, Where Gamers Come To Game. I started gaming around 29 years ago and have no plans of stopping. I started at an arcade playing Space Invaders and have witnessed every generation of consoles and the evolution of PC Gaming to its current state. My favorite console would have to be the Sega Dreamcast. It was the first online console that did it right, it brought gamers together online like nothing before or since. My favorite all time game is Day of Defeat Source for the PC, I played the game from its first beta to DoD:Source. For the website I will continue to help it grow and do my best to give the community what it wants and deserves.

About Me: I'm 26 (soon to be 27) and I love gaming, maybe a little too much heh. I'm married and have a step-son that games with me frequently. My wife doesn't like gaming so much so I generally play when she's at work which luckily is second shift. ;)

About Me: I think I actually got into PC gaming in the early 80's with by TRS-80. Sure I tried the 2600 and the Intellivison, but the Super Nintendo was probably the first console I ever bought. Nowadays I'm pretty much 98% console gamer. I play the occasionl RTS or MMORPG now and then on the PC. Maybe the PSX was my favorite console. The PSX made me the console gamer I am today. My favorite game is hard to say, but I must pay tribute to Zork, Ultima, and Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards. These games helped define me as a gamer. I love this community and am willing to help when and if I can. I can't imagine ever leaving my online pals behind. I'm glad most of us came here together. All I can offer you is my time, my gaming, and my meager thoughts. Vae Victus! Have fun, game on, and God bless!!

About Me: By day, I'm a Systems Administrator for a worldwide concrete company but by hobby I'm a writer. I've been writing professionally for almost 8 years and approximately 3 years ago, I began writing as a hobby for various websites who's niche covered topics that interested me. Mainly gaming and the high-definition equipment used to showcase gaming. Being of the older variety, I got into gaming when my parents graced our house with a Tandy 1000 HX. Gaming was tough back then as most of it was compiled through basic code and pre-packaged affairs were such exciting titles as Math Blaster and a Caveman game called Joe and Mac. Years later, my parents brought home an Intellivision system and even the more popular Atari 2600 console. Both of those systems changed my life for good. It wasn't until I played the original Final Fantasy on the NES that I found my calling in gaming. The storytelling and pure immersion into the gaming world sucked me in and never let go. To date, the Final Fantasy series remains one of my absolute favorite game series of all time. Final Fantasy 9, to me, is the best in the series. Even trumping the mighty FF7 due to a less convoluted and confusing storyline. I believe my experience and passion for writing could benefit the site greatly. I'm well versed in the history of gaming, I've played most every system out there (Although currently only own an Xbox 360 and PSP), I'm highly skilled at tracking down new release information about upcoming titles, and I generally have a true passion for games as a whole. Among the many things I like to do in my life, be it motorcycles, boating, reading, writing, I put myself as a gamer first and foremost.

About Me: I am an English major with teacher's certification at Eastern Illinois University and have been gaming for most of my 20 years on this fine planet, with no intentions of stopping any time soon. While a fan of older systems, especially from the Super Nintendo/Sega Genesis era, I normally find myself on the Xbox 360, Wii, or PC these days. I'm largely a fan of RPG, Platform, Action/Adventure, and Shooter games, although my palette is diverse enough to give any game a fair try. Picking a favorite game is a daunting task, but I have always had a special spot in my heart for Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars for the Super Nintendo.

About Me: I'm 27 years old and right now looking for work. I've lived in both Massachusetts 20 years and now Florida for 8.I've been gaming for as long as I can remember. The first game I ever picked up was Pitfall for the Atari 2600. I remember the first game I got excited about and that was the original Final Fantasy on the NES. In those days there weren't many games with much of a story but when I heard about this game that had a story to it I just had to have it. I remember the Christmas morning I got the NES and Final Fantasy with it like it was yesterday. That's all I asked for that year and I couldn't have been a happier kid at the time. As I grew up I've always had an appreciation for video games and their development as well as their art. I just like everything about them from controlling characters to the story to all the sounds. It's the reason I've been doing it for nearly all my life. I'll play most anything but my favorite genre of course is RPG's but I like my shooters and RTS's as well although their not my strong suits but I still play them. I'm confident in my taste and assessment in games. You'll find me on the XBox 360 and PSP these days.

About Me: I started gaming on a Pong console back in the late 70's. I've been a member of the Gamers Hub since back in the Dreamcast days but have changed my nickname several times over the years. I'm mainly a console gamer but do play a few of the older PC games from time to time. I'm a fan of RPG, action/adventure, puzzle, and shooters but will play just about any game type out there.

About Me: Started out playing Astrosmash on the Intellivision System. Didn’t know it at the time, but I was on my way to becoming a video game addict. The NES came out and Contra served as a nice gate-way drug. A few years later, Nintendo Power arrived in the mail with exclusive Super Nintendo screenshots. I went into convulsions; that’s how bad I needed a SNES fix. When it hit the streets, I was all over it, my craving insatiable. Those years were some good times, but at the expense of my childhood. Soon I was making some good scratch when I was introduced to the glamour drugs: PlayStation and N64. Came darn near close to lethally overdosing on GT, FF, and Goldeneye. Friends helped wean me off when the PS2 grabbed a hold of my weakness for better graphics. I also started to “grow my own” and built my first gaming PC. Wolfenstien 3-D and Call of Duty 2 forced me into a 12 step program. I came out clean, but soon dabbled into some PS3 games. Now I’m holed up in a dirty, roach infested hotel hoping my family hasn’t signed up for A&E’s “Intervention”. And yes, it feels great………!

About Me: I play games. Lots of games. All the time. On pretty much any console. Everything from Poker to Prince of Persia. Been playing games since I was a little young gun. Started with Intellivision playing SNAFU (probably the greatest game ever created, still fun to play to this day) and have been pushing forward ever since. If elected as your grandmaster of the forums I promise to crush all non gamers and gamers who wish to feast on other gamers.
